Rolutec Maps
Privacy policy
This policy explains how Rolutec Maps processes information when you use its authenticated field-mapping, map-layer, GNSS, drawing, media, offline-package, printing, and diagnostic features. The app is a field-validation prototype and is not presented as production GIS or navigation software.
Information processed
- Account information such as email address, display name, user identifier, authentication provider, sessions, and security events.
- Precise foreground device or external-GNSS location, accuracy, receiver configuration, selected Bluetooth device identifiers, Network GNSS endpoints, and NTRIP settings.
- Drawings, model feature edits, map and layer preferences, offline package requests, search and identify actions, and optional photo or video attachments.
- Technical information such as server connectivity, tile and cache counts, GNSS status, errors, and performance summaries. Diagnostic export is user initiated.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, render and synchronize map work, show location and GNSS state, store or deliver user-requested offline data and attachments, secure the service, diagnose failures, and respond to support requests.
Sharing and service providers
Data is sent only as needed to the Rolutec Map Server and infrastructure, email, authentication, map, and storage providers used to deliver the requested feature. Provider API keys and credentials are not shared with other users. A PDF is saved, printed, or shared only when the user initiates that action; the chosen operating-system or browser destination then applies its own terms.
Retention and security
Local drawings, edits, caches, settings, and offline packages remain on the device until synchronized, deleted, cleared, or the app data is removed. Server records remain while needed for the account and requested service and are deleted or de-identified according to the applicable workflow and account-deletion process. Production network traffic uses HTTPS, and native authentication and GNSS credentials use platform secure storage. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can deny location or Bluetooth permission, choose whether to upload attachments or export diagnostics, clear saved login and GNSS credentials, clear diagnostics and map location, delete cached or offline data, sign out, and request account deletion.
